CGS Engineers have provided the structural design for over 20 million
square feet of structures, with design live loads up to 600 psf on
elevated floors and 3000 psf on ground-supported slabs.
Concrete frame
designs have included office buildings up to 34 stories in height,
hotels to 14 stories, parking garages to 10 stories, as well as many
special-use structures. Structural steel designs have included
mid-rise structures 6 stories in height and large footprint industrial
facilities in excess of 200,000 square feet.

Mr. Thorson is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Texas,
California, Florida & Nevada) with more
than 30 years experience in structural engineering. His
experience includes the design of numerous prestressed
concrete structures, both precast/prestressed and CIP
post-tensioned. He spent one year in Paris studying the
design of heavily loaded, long-span reinforced and
post-tensioned structures.

Mr. Kuang is a Licensed Professional Engineer (Texas) with more than
25 years experience in the design and construction of steel
and concrete structures. His experience includes the design
of many notable structures in the San Antonio area such as
Air Force Village II, Cornerstone Church, and the addition
to the Hilton Palacio Del Rio, while with another firm prior
to joining CGS is 1987.
