Six Flags Theme Parks
CGS provided the structural engineering design services on several of the ancillary buildings for Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Support structures and foundations were also designed for several of the major rides and theme areas, including The Boardwalk, Roadrunner Coaster, Mine Train, Log Flume, and the Enterprise. Structural engineering for park improvements were also performed at several of the other Six Flags Theme Parks, including Six Flags America (Maryland), Six Flags Ohio, and Six Flags Georgia.

Homewood Suites - San Antonio
CGS performed the structural design for a 4-level addition to an existing 8-story concrete building constructed in 1918. The design services included analysis and strengthening of the existing structure, including the spread footings underneath the basement slab and increasing column capacities on the lower floors.

Hotels and Leisure Facilities
CGS has performed structural design for a number of Hotels and a wide variety of Theme Park Structures in various states. Our Design Services have ranged from complete structural design of hotels to support structures and ancillary buildings for Theme Parks.

Hyatt Hill Country Resort - San Antonio

CGS designed all of the steel-framed structures at this $80 million destination resort. These included the ballrooms, support services, and clubhouse. We performed construction administration for the concrete residential areas.

Residence Inn - San Antonio
The Marriott Residence Inn was a 14-story, post-tensioned concrete structure with an adjoining precast parking garage.

Doubletree Club - Austin
CGS designed this 6-story Doubletree Club Hotel in Austin as a post-tensioned concrete structure.

Doubletree Club - Dallas
The 6-story Doubletree Club Hotel in Plano was designed as a post-tensioned concrete structure.

Westin La Cantera - San Antonio
CGS designed the steel-framed ballroom structure and associated elements for this destination resort, as well as performing constuction administration services for the project as a subconsultant.

Embassy Suites - Austin
CGS designed the 10-story Embassy Suites in Austin as a cast-in-place concrete frame with post-tensioned floors. The project included a 5-story precast parking garage.
